ALUMINUM DIE CASTING

DIE CASTING BENEFITS

HIGH ACCURACY

Our die casting process produces complex aluminum castings with remarkable precision.

HIGH SPEED

With a rate of 30 seconds to 2 minutes per part, we ensure the production and delivery of moulded parts within flexible deadlines.

SURFACE FINISH

Die casting is a great choice for specific surface finishes, or lightweight thin wall castings.

DIE CASTING METHOD

Perfect for producing parts with remarkable precision, aluminum die casting offers a lower manufacturing cost than other casting technologies.

High pressure injection ensures a fast result throughout the process of solidification.

Specialized equipment bring precise manufacturing at optimal cost for various activity sectors.

MAIN ALLOYS FOR DIE CASTING AT FONDERIE LEMOLTECH

A380 ALUMINUM ALLOY

USE

Most popular alloy for aluminum die casting.

ADVANTAGES

Has the best combination of physical and mechanical properties for casting, including being lightweight, very strong at high temperatures, and resistant to corrosion.

Highly effective at maintaining dimensional stability even with complex shapes and thin walls and offers high electrical and thermal conductivity.

More economical and easier to use than A360.

A383 ALUMINUM ALLOY

USE

Modified A380 alloy used for precise die filling not possible with A380 alloy, as it is not as durable as A380.

Typically used to form components that are complex and require very specific die fill characteristics.

ADVANTAGES

Higher resistance to high temperatures with less chance of heat cracking.

A360 ALUMINUM ALLOY

USE

More difficult to cast than A380, and therefore sometimes avoided by many foundries.

ADVANTAGES

Higher strength at high temperatures, better ductility, and higher corrosion resistance.

Better pressure tightness.

Better corrosion resistance than A380 and A383 alloys.

ZINC-ALUMINUM ALLOYS

USE

Alloys that combine zinc and aluminum mainly used in gravity casting.

Type of alloy refined by scientists for efficient use in die casting.

ADVANTAGES

Higher strength, lower density, better creep resistance, and better wear resistance than other zinc alloys.

LARGE PRODUCTION CAPACITY

Thanks to its knowledge, technologies and die casting equipment, Fonderie Lemoltech is known for its production capacity of aluminum parts.
